Chief Executive - Clare Pelham Clare was appointed in February 2006. She previously worked in the public sector at the Cabinet Office and HM Treasury and in the private sector at IBM and on the board of Coca-Cola GB & Ireland. Her experience of the justice system includes roles as Head of Police Strategy in the Home Office and on the board of HM Prison Service. |

Director, Court Appointments - Jane Andrews Jane joined the JAC in September 2007. Most recently she was working with HM Revenue and Customs to move the department away from a tax by tax approach, towards starting from the point of view of the business customer. She brings with her a track record in creating new teams, and delivering big policy change. She has a sustained interest in standards in public life from past work with the NHS Ombudsman and as a lay member of her local Council's Standards Committee. |

Director - Corporate Resources - Sue Martin Sue was appointed to the JAC in August 2007. Prior to taking up this post, Sue worked at the Government Office for East of England as Head of Corporate Development, where she oversaw a major change programme and delivered improvements in corporate services. Sue has previously worked in specialist roles in the Home Office and Department for Skills and Education. She is a management accountant and auditor by training and has interest is community issues, working with her local Chamber of Trade and Tourism and is also a school governor. |

Director - Strategy and Outreach - Nigel Reeder
Nigel joined the JAC in March 2008. Prior to that his career was initially at the Ministry of Defence and for the last 10 years with the Ministry of Justice (including the Lord Chancellor's Department, and the Department for Constitutional Affairs). As Head of the Legal Services Bill Team, Nigel developed wide ranging stakeholder relationships and was responsible for the delivery of a major piece of legislation. Just prior to his appointment to the JAC, Nigel was Head of the Governance of Britain: Judicial Appointments Team in the Ministry of Justice. |
