Salaried President of Employment Tribunals
The Judicial Appointments Commission is inviting applications for appointment as President of Employment Tribunals for England and Wales.
The Employment Tribunals resolve disputes between employers and employees over employment rights. The President has an important judicial leadership role with responsibility for the career development of judges and non-legal members within the Employment Tribunals. The President also oversees the deployment of the Tribunal judiciary, as well as ensuring that high standards of case management and decision making are achieved and maintained.
The post can be based in any of the Tribunals Service's offices although a large number of meetings will take place in London and you will be expected to travel throughout England and Wales.
The closing date for applications is 24 July 2008.
Salary £136,500
