JAC leadership team
The JAC leadership team is led by Chief Executive Richard Jarvis, supported by Head of Operations Sharon Foster-King, and Head of Strategy and Policy Alice Ripley.
Richard Jarvis, Chief Executive
Richard joined the JAC in February 2017 from the National School of Government International, where he was the Head of this cross-departmental unit providing advisory support on civil service and centre of government reform to overseas governments.
Prior to this Richard was the Chief Executive of the Civil Service Commission and Head of Independent Offices (Commissioner for Public Appointments, House of Lords Appointments Commission and the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments).

Alice Ripley, Deputy Chief Executive
Alice was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive in February 2019. She joined the JAC in September 2011 as Head of the Commissioners' Secretariat and Private Secretary to the Chairman. From December 2014 she was Head of Strategy and Policy.
Alice has previously worked for the Ministry of Justice on a variety of policy areas including sentencing reform.

Sharon Foster-King, Head of Operations and Digital
Sharon was appointed as Head of Operations in June 2017. She previously worked for the Civil Service Fast Stream, the Civil Service Commission, Government Equalities Office and for the Department for Work and Pensions.
Prior to that Sharon had spent 20 years working in operational delivery in Jobcentre Plus.
