The Criminal Cases Review Commission is seeking up to five Commissioners, roles which are home-based with occasional travel to Birmingham.
The Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) is an independent statutory body, created to investigate possible miscarriages of justice in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It helps safeguard the rights of the individual and the
integrity of the justice process by considering whether convictions are safe and sentences correct and by sending appropriate cases back to the appeal courts.
The CCRC welcomes applications from both lawyers and those not legally qualified in addition to welcoming applications from those who also hold posts in the criminal justice system which do not raise an issue in respect of conflict of interest.
Applications close on 18 May 2020. For further information and how to apply please visit the Public Appointments website.
